If Matheny keeps using him against Tracy, he'll never have him for Harper and ALR. Today, he didn't even get to face a LH batter. That's a bad hand that Matheny dealt himself.Section 222https://www.blogger.com/profile/17106128453333996193noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9207681.post-73891685872234703292012-10-07T17:41:55.963-07:002012-10-07T17:41:55.963-07:00Anon - yep. Tomorrow I'll change my Nats keys to "Play Small Ball" so I can see some homers

Donald - What I'd take is Matheny is going to be hamstrung with that 1 LH in the pen. He didn't use him early then used him to counter act Chad Tracy. I mean he's been good but that's not optimal. Honestly that's about all I feel confident in saying right now. All singles, a crazy amount of walks and Tyler Moore dunking one into right to take the lead. I'm not sure what to take from this game going into tomorrow. On the positive side, I'm pleased with the bullpen. Clippard's been a wildcard, but he did great under pressure and Storen was solid. My one concern is with Zimmerman. All those pumps and then throwing the ball into the dirt makes me think that his issue is more mental than mechanical. We don't need him getting the yips right now.Donaldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12295227567170577873noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9207681.post-79826764078586848292012-10-07T16:12:10.539-07:002012-10-07T16:12:10.539-07:00Pretty much none of what you said the Nats needed ...Pretty much none of what you said the Nats needed happened, but I'll take it for now!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
