Now let's get 7 more victories next month and hang a 2014 flag at Nationals Park next to 1924, 1925, and 1933. It would be the first pennant in integrated DC baseball history.
This feels MUCH different than 2012. This Nats team looks like they have the fire in their eyes, to replace the fear and uncertainty that seemed to be in the eyes of the 2012 team. Harper was right -- we could have called this one 2 weeks ago; the Barves didn't stand a chance...they've looked like a defeated team just playing out the string for the last couple of weeks, and definitely for these past two series vs. the Nats...
I'm with Z11 -- DCFD fireman's helmets will be a hot commodity this fall... And BTW, we can now say it -- post-season tix go on sale on Monday...

Officially the first team in MLB this year with the little x next to them in the standings.
The interesting thing is that the Nats would almost certainly have won the NL East this year with last year's record.
