RIP Frank

Rememberances should be separate not tacked onto my column about Rendon.

Here's Barry's piece.  (FIXED)

Better than anything I'll write.

That’s a link to the best fielded bunt of all time. I like that link is your presumably accidental post. Dedication.

Keith Hernandez sure could field a bunt. But Frank was a legend. Favorite memory of him was this:

the Kieth Hernandez highlights gives us insight into the man behind the blog.

Our first manager... All joking aside, I'll always remember Frank for always having the backs of his players.

Impressive man, baseball would not be what it is today without his contributions. We were fortunate to have him as the Nats first Manager.

Jimmy - I did love doing cocaine in St. Louis.

Love his 1982 Giants (except for the strange decision to stick with Johnnie LeMaster). Expos managing was less impressive. Playing career was absolutely stunning.

There are a few better players and managers, but if your inner circle of the hall of fame isn't below Frank, you're following a different game than me.

I still hate the Angels to this day, all stemming from a bench clearing brawl that happened while Frank was skipper here, and some Angel ~ threw a punch at him.
