Nothing surprising but Hassell, House, Lipscomb, Garrett, Clay Helvey, and Andrew Pickeney were all sent packing... to the minors. That leaves 35 healthy men on the roster so 10 more to cut. here's a list
One of the C goes, they definitely won't carry Yepez AND Tena, two starters are definitely gone a couple relievers and probably all the NRIs (Knizer, Poche, and Lord) none of which are making a mark. that's an easy nine. I'd bet on the other of Yepez/Tena going down and there you have it. We done.
Starters - Herz is having issues that scream "send me down to work it out" and Ogasawara needs to be evaluated to see where he should be. That's pretty easy, too.
Relievers is a little tougher because a bunch of guys who should make it look real bad. Finnegan, Law, Lopez, Sims. Of course they haven't pitched much at all so expect Sims the only odd man out here. Make me guess and I'd say Rutledge is back down to get more in the reliever mindset but what do I know.
Getting close to Opening Day (US version). Not excited but it'll be good to have a daily distraction back

Agree that Sims should go, but guessing he doesn't given his 3mm contract
Only 9 to drop if there are 35 left in camp, right? 26-man rosters now.
What do you make of Zuck’s posts about Lopez’s hip and Davey’s compliments for Brad Lord?
Only 34 left per Zuckerman's list, so...I'll say Millas, Yepez, and Nunez get sent down (with Nunez in MLB to get full-time work and Tena kept over Yepez for positional flexibility), Ogasawara (so he can stay stretched out as a starter and evaluated), one of Herz or Parker (ditto on the "stay stretched out" as SP6), and the three NRIs.
let s justs say 33 left and rosters of 39. so we have to add 6
SP5 is the most interesting one by far. I see it as pretty equally likely at this point between Herz to AAA, Parker to AAA or Irvin is actually hurt and they both stay up.
If Herz is really a known slow starter, and if he was really up to 92 on the backfields, then I have to think that the service time clocks decide any ties against Parker.
I'm having a hard time really having much of an opinion for which of Yepez, Tena, or Nunez gets the last spot on the bench or which two of Ribalta, Rutledge, Lord and Poche fill out the bullpen. I guess I'm hopeful enough on Nunez that I want him to get regular at bats in AAA, but I'm not at all sure the team feels the same way.
