Honestly thought Zim would re-sign with the Nats sometime in March so that he could avoid as much Spring Training as possible. But I guess it's in everyone's best interest to avoid the "why is franchise icon Ryan Zimmerman still unsigned?" storyline.
I think with the amount of PT Zimmerman is expected to have this year, it should be less of an issue than in the past.
