Stay Calm and Continue doing what you were doing

No limey sayings over here. This is America on July 3rd! That's almost July 4th.

Nats lose. As will happen. The homestand goal was 5 wins, 2 losses. Two losses. Have to happen sometime.

Happy 4th everyone.

Thank you Harper because I thought you were gonna have a feild day on the Nats after last night. They have to win the Strasburg starts.

Why can't they go on a winning streak? I understand your baby step logic, but its not like nobody has ever gone on a 7 game winning streak, at home, vs crappy teams, before...

Anon - they really do need to win those 0 runs 7 IP starts because those are the easy ones, but hopefully it all works out with some wins when the starters gare less impressive (see ZNN 'slast game)

C&S - I know I know. It's frustrating. But the important part is that you keep moving forward. Eyes on the prize and what not.

They would have won except a certain someone (who we should look to trade) came in and blew it. My stomach hurt for Strasburg. I think this is where you allow Strasburg to go off on that certain someone in the clubhouse later. This is a performance league and we don't have any room on the margins for that kind of crap.

It's ok to lose a game but its not ok to BLOw a gem.

I'm frustrated with Storen, but even more frustrating then him getting hit and walking people, was the complete lack of holding runners. They were halfway to the next bag and no one on D says anything or have Storen make an adjustment? It seemed once he gave up the first 2 runs, they just completely gave up. That was disgusting baseball to watch that inning.

After a second failure n a row of the offense to do anything, and a 15 inning scoreless streak, I think it's time to start making moves. At least a ritual firing of Eckstein. Something.
